When I was a kid, I got close to things by understanding them. I opened up whatever I was told not to touch, asked more questions than anyone wanted, and never accepted "that is just how it is" as an answer. It was not about breaking rules. Understanding something just felt like the only honest way to trust it.

The questions only got bigger. I watched the internet grow from Napster and MySpace into AI that can learn things no one taught it. I still spend hours on simple questions with strange answers. Why does time only move forward and never back? Is anything ever truly random, or does it just follow rules we cannot see? How did a company build a rocket as tall as a building, and then catch the falling booster with two giant mechanical arms? Sooner or later, almost everything starts to look like a system I can figure out.

Every few years, I started over somewhere new. Ahmedabad, then Bengaluru, then Berlin for a Master's, now Cologne. Every time, I was the new person in the room, trying to understand a system nobody had explained to me. Do that enough times and you stop fearing the confusion and start building for it: you take something confusing and turn it into a map for the next person.

It took me a long time to understand what all that curiosity really was. To understand something fully is a kind of love, and most of what I build is just me trying to love the world that way. I am still the same kid who needed to know why. The only difference now is that I build the answer into something that helps other people, not just my own curiosity.
